Admission criteria are fully online and based on entrance exams such as CAT. These examinations are accepted for the MBA program at IIM Calcutta. Before registration, read the paropactus carefully, then apply for the programs. 

Eligibility criteria- Registration process is now open for the MBA course. Enroll now through the official website of the institute. It is mandatory to fulfill the eligibility criteria. Moreover, candidates who have passed their graduation from any recognised university, including a bachelor's degree from any faculty. Minimum 50% required for general candidates, and for reserved category students, have some relaxation in the total aggregate marks.

How to apply online at IIM Calcutta?

• Visit the official page of the Institute and register yourself by providing detailed information about students. 
• Complete the registration process and pay the application fee of INR 2600/- or INR 1300/- through online payment methods. 
• After confirmation, you will receive your username and password at your login ID via SMS or Email.  Log in to the official website with the help of these details. 
• Along with the necessary details, the entrance exam score is required. 
• Upload the final result of submitting the obtained marks in the CAT entrance exam. 
• After that, you will receive an invitation leveraging the selection criteria, which is based on the marks obtained in the qualified examination. 
• The candidate has to attend the selection process in the 2nd week of February at IIM Calcutta 
• After completing all the required processes, you will receive the admission confirmation letter with campus allotments. Campus selection totally depends on the cut–off.
