Indian Institute of Management- IIM J Jammu Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

IIM Jammu offers MBA, IPM, Dual degree, doctoral program, certificate program, and executive programs. The IIM Jammu accepts CAT scores for the MBA and PGP programmes. For the IPM program, IIM Jammu accepts JIPMAT, which is conducted by NTA. Find the eligibility criteria and the selection process for admission 2026 below:-

• MBA/PGP and Executive MBA: students must qualify for the CAT exam, and the cutoff list will be announced. 
• Students can apply for admission after the CAT exam results are out via the official website of the IIM Jammu.
• Students will be shortlisted based on CAT scores and institute-specific criteria. Students are shortlisted for PI as the next step in the admission process.
• Common Admission Process (CAP) is followed in the admission process, where the PI/WAT round is jointly conducted for IIM Jammu and nine other new/young IIMs to ensure uniform evaluation.
• For IPM admission, students must qualify for the JIPMAT exam, and no GD/PI rounds are conducted for IPM admissions.
• PhD admission, students must qualify for the CAT, GRE, GMAT, UGC/CSIR NET (JRF), or IIM Jammu's own research admission test.
• Supplementary Admission Process (SAP) is for students who meet IIM Jammu-specific shortlisting criteria but miss CAP cut-offs; the institute conducts an additional PI round.
• The final Merit List is prepared based on CAT score (about 40%), PI performance (30%), academic record (10%), work experience (10%), and gender diversity (around 10%).
• Students who will be selected in the final merit list will receive admission letters.
