IIM Kashipur accepts CAT exam scores along with the Written Ability Test and a personal interview for admission. The Institute offers MBA, MBA Analytics, EMBA, PhD, and an Online Certificate Program. Find the eligibility criteria and admission process 2026 below:-

Eligibility criteria for the mentioned programs:

• MBA: The Student must have a bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate marks. For SC/ST/PwD students, they must have 45% marks. The Students must qualify in the CAT examination.
• MBA (Analytics): A student must have a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, 47% for the  NC-OBC/EWS, and 45% marks for SC/ST/DAP. The Student must qualify in the CAT or GMAT.
• MBA Executive: A student must have a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks and 47% for 47% for NC-OBC, and 45% for SC/ST/DAP. Students must have 3 years of Managerial/ Entrepreneurial/ Professional experience after Graduation. 

Exec-PhD: A student must have - 

• A Master's degree with  60% marks or, 
• A five-year integrated Master’s Degree Program with 60% marks or, 
• A Master’s degree (like CA, CMA, CS) with 60% marks or, 
• 4 years / 8-semester Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech. /B. Arch. etc.) with at least 60% marks.

• EPGDBM: A student must have a bachelor’s degree with 45% marks, 42% for NC-OBC, EWS, and 40% marks for SC/ST/DAP. The Student must qualify GMAT/CAT/IIM Kashipur Administered Test score.

Selection process for admission 2026 below:-

• Students applying for admission to IIM Kashipur must have qualified in the CAT exam before applying for admission.
• Category-wise CAT cutoff will be released for the students.
• Students must attend the personal interview conducted by the Institute to be qualified for the next step in the admission process.
• The students will be shortlisted and made in the final merit list based on CAT Score, personal interview, academic record, work experience, and professional qualification.
• Selected final students can complete the admission process with payment of the academic fee.
