Indian Institute of Medical Science & Research Jalna Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Online Admission Procedure at Indian Institute of Medical Science & Research (IIMSR) is given below for MBBS Course. 

Important* Indian Institute of Medical Science & Research (IIMSR) Medical Admissions are based on NEET Exam:

Appear for NEET UG Exam:

• Register and qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The exam is held annually in May, with results in June.

• Minimum qualifying percentile: 50th for general, 40th for reserved categories.

Register for Maharashtra State Counseling:

• After NEET results, register online for Maharashtra NEET UG Counseling via the CET Cell portal.

• This includes state quota (85% seats) and all-India quota (15% seats) for Maharashtra-domiciled candidates.

Choice Filling and Seat Allotment:

• Fill preferences for colleges and courses during the counseling rounds (usually 3 rounds + mop-up).

• Seats are allotted based on NEET rank, category, and preferences. IIMSR Jalna has 150 MBBS seats (127 state quota, 23 AIQ).

Document Verification and Fee Payment:

• Report to the allotted center for document verification (e.g., NEET scorecard, Class 10/12 marksheets, domicile certificate, category certificate if applicable).

• Pay the admission fees to confirm the seat (non-refundable if forfeited).

Reporting to College:

• Join IIMSR Jalna within the stipulated time with originals and photocopies of documents.

• Complete medical fitness check and orientation.

Note*  admission is granted without a valid NEET score.
