IIA Gurgaon has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell that provides strong industry linkages and 100% placement assistance for eligible Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) students. The cell organises campus drives, pre-placement training, internships, and industry interactions. Placements typically start after the 4th semester, with many students securing roles in airlines, MROs, and aviation firms. The average offered package is INR 1.2 CPA, and the average package offered is INR 15 LPA. More than 80 offers came in 2024 recruitment drives from 30+ recruiters. 

Key Activities and Placements:

• Providing 100% placement assistance to all eligible final-year students.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with leading airlines, MROs (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul organisations), and aviation companies.
• Organising campus recruitment drives and coordinating off-campus opportunities.
• Facilitating internships and on-the-job training for students.
• Ensuring students are well-prepared for global and domestic aviation job markets.
• Conducts regular workshops on resume building, group discussions, personal interviews, technical interview preparation, soft skills, communication skills, and personality development.
• Organises mock technical and HR interviews, aptitude tests, and personality assessment sessions to boost student confidence.
• Invites senior professionals from airlines and MROs for guest lectures, seminars, and industry insights.
• Arranges mandatory internships (often 6–12 months) with reputed organisations like Air India, Indigo, Jet Serve Aviation, etc., which frequently lead to pre-placement offers (PPOs).
