INFO Institute of Engineering, Coimbatore Admissions, Fees, Eligibility, Dates, Cut off & Selection Process

Candidates can fill out the application form online or download the same from the official website by following the form submission at the college campus.

For B. Tech/B.E. admissions are based on the merit in Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) is governed by the Education Department of Tamil Nadu. TNEA rank list is released on the basis of marks in 10+2 (PCM).

Candidate must have scored 50% or above (45% for OBC, 40 % for SC/ST) in 10+2 from a recognized board. In the case of Lateral Entry, the candidates must have a Diploma or B.Sc. in the relevant stream.

For M.E. admission, 50% or above (45% for OBC/SC/ST) in B. Tech or equivalent courses is a must. In the case of M.E, MBA, and MCA programs, TANCET score is mandatory, and apart from the TANCET score for M.E, preference is also given to the GATE qualified candidates.

Steps to apply, 

• 1. Check Eligibility: For B.E./B.Tech, you must have passed Class 12 (PCM) with required marks as per Anna University norms and for MBA/MCA, you need a recognized bachelor’s degree.
• 2. Choose Your Application Mode: You can apply through TNEA Counselling (Major Route for Tamil Nadu Students), register on the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) portal, submit documents & certificates online, and attend counselling and choose Info Institute of Engineering during choice filling. Direct Admission / Management Quota (For All Students), Contact the institute directly through website, phone, or visit the campus, fill the college’s direct admission form, and submit required documents.
• 3. Fill Out the Application Form: Online via college website, offline by visiting the admission office. Provide basic details like Personal information, Academic details, and Course preference.
• 4. Upload / Submit Documents: Common documents needed Class 10 mark sheet, Class 12 mark sheet, Transfer Certificate (TC), Community Certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar card, Passport-size photos, and for PG: UG degree mark sheets
• 5. Attend Counselling (If through TNEA): You’ll receive a rank based on Class 12 scores, and attend counselling sessions and choose IIE during seat selection.
• 6. Confirm the Admission: If selected, pay the initial admission fee, and submit original certificates for verification.
• 7. Pay the Remaining Fees: Complete tuition fee payment before the deadline, collect the admission confirmation receipt.
• 8. Complete Enrollment: Collect your student ID, join orientation and attend the first day as per schedule.
