Admissions at IET Lucknow are entrance-based and conducted through Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC).
Eligibility Criteria:
B.Tech: 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics + Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject. Minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). Must have valid JEE Main / CUET UG score.
M.Tech: Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). Valid GATE / CUET-PG score.
MBA: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). Valid CUET-PG / CAT / MAT score.
MCA: Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level with minimum 50% marks. Valid CUET-PG score.
Ph.D.: Master’s degree in relevant field with minimum required percentage + entrance test/interview.
Admission Process:
Appear for the required entrance exam (JEE Main for B.Tech, GATE/CUET-PG for PG).
Register on the UPTAC counselling portal.
Fill choices and participate in counselling rounds.
Seat allotment based on rank, category, and availability.
Pay fees and report to the institute for document verification and enrolment.
