Key Highlights for 2025-2026 Session (Applicable as of January 2026)

• Admissions are primarily based on IPU CET (conducted by GGSIPU) for programs like BBA, BCA, and B.Com (Hons).
• GGSIPU also accepts CUET UG scores for certain UG programs, and this is increasingly integrated, according to some sources indicate CUET UG for the 2026 cycle, with exams in March-May 2026. A small percentage of seats (10%) are filled through the Management Quota directly by the institute.
• Eligibility Criteria (Common for All Programs) Passed Class 12th (10+2) from a recognised board. Minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories like SC/ST). Must have passed English as a core/elective subject. For the BCA program, Mathematics/Computer Science/IP as a subject in 12th is often preferred/required.

Online Admission Process through the official website 

Register and Apply Online:

• Visit the official GGSIPU admission portal: http://www.ipu.ac.in or https://ipu.admissions.nic.in (links are updated annually; check the latest for 2026).
• Fill the common application form for GGSIPU admissions.
• Pay the application fee (approximately ₹1,500-2,000).

• Select preferred programs and colleges (include IITM Janakpuri as a choice).

   

Appear for Entrance Exam: Primary Exam: IPU CET 

Check Results and Cutoff: Results declared on the GGSIPU website.

Participate in Counseling: Online centralised counselling by GGSIPU.

Physical Reporting and Document Verification: Report to the allotted institute (IITM) with original documents. Submit required documents. Pay the remaining fee to confirm admission.

Management Quota (If Applicable): 10% seats filled directly by IITM. Apply separately via the institute's website (check "Management Quota 2025-26" section on https://iitmjp.ac.in/). Merit-based on 12th marks; separate application and interview possible.
