JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur Types of Scholarship Details

JKLU offers a comprehensive range of merit-based, need-based, and special category scholarships to make quality education accessible and provide financial support for every deserving candidate. These are primarily applicable to academic/tuition fees and can provide up to 100% waiver. Scholarships are awarded at the time of registration and can continue in subsequent years, subject to maintaining a minimum CGPA (typically specified per program). Additionally, only the highest eligible scholarship is awarded. Applicable for students who passed Class XII in 2024 or 2025. Continuation depends on academic performance and university policies (disciplinary committees may revoke for infractions).

Undergraduate Programs (B.Tech, BBA, B.Des)

• Merit-Based Scholarships for B.Tech. B.Des. and BBA programs are based on Class XII percentage (PCM/PCB), JEE Main percentile, or CUET scores. Based on UCEED/NID DAT/JKLU-DET scores, portfolio, and academic performance (top performers in entrance rounds can get a 75-100% waiver). High achievers can receive up to 100% tuition fee waiver.
• Early Bird Scholarship: Additional incentive for early admissions (details vary by year).
• Special Category (10% additional scholarship): Wards of defense personnel. SC/ST students. Differently-abled students. Students from Northeast states or Union Territories (except Delhi). Students from JK Organisation (JKO) schools.
• Sibling/Alumni Scholarship: 20% for siblings of current students/alumni or alumni pursuing a second degree. Staff/JKO Wards: 15% for wards of JKLU/JKO staff or schools (entire program duration).
• Extra-Curricular/Co-Curricular: Case-by-case evaluation by committee for exceptional achievements (sports).

Postgraduate Programs (M.Tech, M.Des, MBA)

• M.Tech: GATE-qualified candidates are eligible for significant support (up to 100% on academic fees or a monthly stipend of INR 12,400). Merit-based on graduation marks or entrance scores.
• M.Des/MBA: Merit-based on academic performance, entrance exams (CEED, CAT/XAT), and interviews.
