- Decide which branch is convenient, such as Sion main, Mulund, Andheri, Vile Parle, Chembur, Powai, Vashi, etc.
- Visit the Branch in Person, between 4:30 PM and 7:30 PM, except Monday.
- You can have 1-2 trial classes to decide if you really want to apply or not.
- Fill the Simple Registration Form.
- Pay the first month’s fees and one one-time registration fee. Your admission is confirmed.

No entrance test and usually no waiting list. Just visit the Sion branch (or any branch) any evening (except Monday), watch a class, meet Raja Sir or the branch guru, fill a simple form, pay the first month’s fees and start immediately!
How long does it take to complete the full course and do Arangetram at Kalasad?
On average it takes 8 to 10 years for a dedicated student to reach Arangetram level. It depends on the child’s grasping speed and regular practice at home.
Do Kalasadan provide university-recognised diplomas or degrees?
No. Kalasadan issues its own internal certificates (Prelis, Junior Diploma, Senior Diploma, Arangetram certificate). These are highly respected in the classical dance community but are not affiliated to any university or government board.
How much are the monthly fees and is there any registration/admission fee at Kalasadan?
Monthly fees is INR 1,500. One-time registration fee is INR 1,000. No discounts or scholarships are available.
What is the minimum age to join Bharatanatyam classes at Kalasadan?
Children as young as 4 years can join the beginners/pre-primary batch. There is no upper age limit.
