The Kaveri College of Arts, Science, and Commerce has a placement cell referred to as Kaveri Placements and Vocational Cell that plays a key role in preparing students for the job market and connecting them with employment opportunities. It bridges the gap between academia and industry, emphasising skill enhancement, career awareness and quality placements for UG and PG students, especially in commerce, management, IT and other related fields.
Its Key role includes:
- Assisting students in discovering career opportunities and helping them in securing job or internships.
- Maintain records of placements, communicate openings via email/whatsapp/notice boards and facilitate campus drives.
- It provides Pre-placement Training Programs covering aptitude, communication/soft skills, resume building, interview techniques, group discussions, work ethics, time management, confidence building, yoga/meditation, nonverbal communication, etc.
- Provides workshop and skill development sessions on employability skills, leadership training, and value-added programs.
