Kirloskar Institute of Management- KIM Pune Scholarships: Eligibility & Scholarship Amount 2026

The scholarship program at the Kirloskar Institute of Management, Pune (KIM) is designed to recognize and reward academic excellence among its PGDM aspirants. Merit‑based financial support is offered primarily on the basis of performance in national management entrance examinations such as CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT and MAT, with higher percentile achievers eligible for larger fee concessions. This initiative aims to encourage high‑performing students by reducing the overall cost of the programme through tuition fee rebates applied in later instalments, contingent on sustained academic performance during the course. 

Merit‑Based Entrance Exam Scholarships:

• Students who secure 95 percentile or above in national management entrance exams (such as CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, or MAT) are eligible for a INR 1,00,000 scholarship on the total course fee.

• Students with scores between 90 and below 95 percentile in these exams are eligible for a INR 60,000 scholarship.

Merit & Academic Excellence Scholarship: Apart from entrance exam performance, some sources list academic merit‑based scholarships that may offer up to INR 50,000, though details and availability vary by year and are limited in number. 

Scholarship Conditions

• These scholarships aren’t given upfront. They are generally applied as a rebate against the fee in the sixth installment of the programme.

• To retain the INR 1,00,000 scholarship, scholars must maintain a strong academic record.

• To retain the INR 60,000 scholarship, a slightly lower GPA/CGPA over previous trimesters is needed.
