KL University Hyderabad Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

KL University Hyderabad (KLH), part of K L Deemed to be University, offers admissions for the 2026-27 academic year to a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, primarily in engineering, management, computing, commerce, and allied fields. Admissions are merit-orientated and primarily based on performance in national/state-level entrance exams or the university’s own tests. The process is centralised through the official KL University portals and supports both Hyderabad campuses.

Eligibility Criteria:

• B.Tech Programmes: Candidates must have passed a 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks and 60% in group subjects, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. 

• BBA/BCA/ B.Com: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks and 60% in group subjects.

• MBA/PG Programmes: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline under the 10+2+3 pattern with a minimum of 50-60% aggregate marks. 

Selection Criteria & Accepted Exams:

• B.Tech: Valid score/rank in KLEEE (preferred), JEE Main, JEE Advanced, TS EAMCET, or other state/national engineering entrance exams + counselling.

• MBA: Valid score in KLMAT, CAT, MAT, XAT, TS ICET, or equivalent and a personal interview (PI).

• Other UG/PG Programmes: Merit in qualifying exam + Written Test / Personal Interview

Application Process:

• Visit the official admission portal and register online.

• Fill application form by providing personal, academic, and contact details. Aadhaar number and exact marks are mandatory.

• Pay application fee of INR 1000, payable online via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI.

• Upload scanned copies of photographs, signatures, marksheets, rank cards, and category certificates.

• Appear for the relevant entrance exam through the same portal. Multiple phases are available. 

• Qualified candidates participate in counselling. Pay initial fees to confirm admission.
