The Admission Process and Eligibility Criteria for MBBS at KMCT Medical College, Kozhikode for the 2026-27 session. Admission to KMCT Medical College is NEET-UG based only. There is no separate entrance test or management test. KMCT Medical College is a private, self-financing Muslim minority institution. Most seats (including Management & NRI quota) are filled through Kerala state centralized counselling.
Eligibility Criteria for the MBBS Program
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as subjects.
Minimum Marks: General category Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) and at least 50% in Biology separately.
Age Limit: Must have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the admission year (2026). No upper age limit.
Nationality: Indian citizens (Kerala domicile preferred for state quota). NRI/PIO/OCI candidates are also eligible under NRI/Management quota.
Mandatory Exam: Must qualify NEET-UG 2026 with the required percentile (50th for General, 40th for SC/ST/OBC).
Online Admission Process 2026 is given below:-
Appear and Qualify NEET-UG 2026 — Conducted by NTA.
Register for Counselling: State Quota / Management Quota seats: Through Kerala State Counselling conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala.
All India Quota (if applicable): Through MCC (Medical Counselling Committee).
Choice Filling & Seat Allotment: Participate in online counselling rounds, fill choices, and get allotted a seat in KMCT Medical College.
Document Verification & Admission: Report to the college with original documents, pay the tuition fee, and complete admission formalities.
NRI/Management Quota: Separate process under Kerala state counselling with higher fees. NRI candidates need to submit additional documents (passport, relationship certificate, etc.).
