KS Institute of Technology Admission Process
Admission procedure at KSIT Bengaluru is mainly based on entrance examinations. For admission purposes, KSIT uses KCET, COMEDK, JEE Main, and PGCET among others, depending on the course selected by candidates.
Eligibility Criteria for B.E, MTech and MCA Programs
- For B.E programs, individuals must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with optional subjects. For the admission in BE, Students have to pass intermediate with minimum of 45% aggregate marks required (40% for SC/ST/OBC of Karnataka).
- For PG courses like M.Tech/MCA, candidates must have a Bachelorβs degree in Engineering/Technology with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Admission is through PGCET or GATE, depending on the course.

Step 1: Check Eligibility:
- Pass 10+2 (PUC or equivalent) with Physics & Mathematics compulsory.
- Minimum 45% marks (General) / 40% (Reserved category)
Step 2: Appear for Entrance Exam:
- Write KCET / COMEDK UGET / JEE Main
- for PG courses is PGCET / GATE
Step 3: Register for Counselling
- Register on KEA (KCET) or COMEDK portal
- Fill in course and college preferences
Step 4: Seat Allotment & Confirmation
- Seat allotted based on rank and availability
- Download allotment letter and confirm seat
Step 5: Reporting to College
- Visit KSIT campus
- Submit documents, pay fees, and complete admission process
