K.S.R. College of Engineering- KSRCE Tiruchengode Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

K.S.R. College of Engineering (KSRCE), Tiruchengode, admits students to its UG, PG, and research programmes primarily through merit-based processes as per Anna University and Tamil Nadu government norms. Admissions are strictly merit-based, with no capitation or donation fees.

M.E./M.Tech: Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in a relevant branch with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). A valid GATE/TANCET score is preferred/required for government quota.

MBA: Any bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Admission through TANCET/MAT/CAT or management quota.

MCA: Bachelor’s degree with mathematics at the 10+2 or graduation level and minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Admission mainly through TANCET.

B.Tech: Candidates must have passed a 10+2 (HSC) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects with minimum aggregate marks in PCM to be 45%.

Admission Process:

Online Registration on TNEA Portal

• Visit the official TNEA website.

• Register with personal details, email, mobile number, and +2 roll number.

• Pay the registration fee.

• Fill in academic details, community, income, special category (if any), and school details from 6th to 12th standard.

Upload Documents & Certificate Verification

• Upload scanned copies of 10th & 12th marksheets, community certificates, nativity certificates, income certificates, Aadhaar, etc.

• Certificate verification is done online at TNEA Facilitation Centres (TFCs) or through uploaded documents.

Random Number Assignment

• TNEA assigns a unique 10-digit random number to break ties in merit.

Publication of Rank List

• Merit rank is prepared based on +2 PCM marks (normalised as per the TNEA formula).

• The rank list is published on the TNEA portal. Candidates can check and raise grievances if needed.

Choice Filling

• Log in and enter preferences for colleges and branches (KSRCE TNEA Code: 2613).

• You can fill in any number of choices; order of preference is important.

Seat Allotment

• Allotment happens in multiple rounds (usually 3–4 rounds) based on your rank, community, and choices.

• The tentative allotment is published; you must confirm or decline.

Confirmation & Reporting

• Confirm the allotted seat online.

• Download the provisional allotment order.

• Report to the allotted college (KSRCE) or TFC with original documents and pay the tuition fee to confirm admission.

• If you do not report, the seat is forfeited.

Final Admission

• Complete remaining formalities at KSRCE (document verification, fee payment, hostel if needed).

• Collect admission letter and ID card.
