Lady Hardinge Medical College Admission Process
Admissions at LHMC are merit-based on entrance scores, with reservations for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD as per central govt. Rules.
Eligibility Criteria:
- MBBS:
- Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.
- Minimum aggregate: 50% in PCB
- Age: Minimum 17 years as on December 31 of the admission year
Must qualify NEET-UG with the required cutoff rank/score.
- B.Sc (Hons) Nursing
- Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
- Minimum aggregate: 45ā50%
- Age: Minimum 17 years as on December 31.
Admission via NEET-UG.
- MD/MS/PG Diploma (3 years for MD/MS, 2 years for Diploma):
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical college (affiliated to University of Delhi or equivalent).
- Completion of 1-year compulsory internship by March 31 of the admission year.
Must qualify NEET-PG.
- Super Specialty (DM/MCh):
- Relevant PG degree (MD/MS).
- Must qualify NEET-SS.
Steps to Apply (General Process for 2026 Admissions)
- Appear for the Relevant Entrance Exam:
- Register and appear for NEET-UG (for MBBS/B.Sc Nursing) or NEET-PG/NEET-SS via the official NTA/NBE websites (neet.nta.nic.in or nbe.edu.in).
- Qualify with the required percentile/rank
- Register for Counseling:
- For All India Quota (15% seats): Register on MCC website after results.
- For Delhi University Quota (85% seats for MBBS,50% for PG): Register on Faculty of Medical Sciences, DU website or follow MCC/DU notifications.
- Fill choices, prioritize LHMC, and participate in online counseling rounds (multiple rounds including mop-up if needed).
Document Verification and Seat Allotment:
