Maa Vindhyawasini Autonomous State Society Medical College Mirzapur Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Admission to the MBBS course at this government medical college is completely entrance-based and conducted through NEET-UG counselling. There is no direct or management quota admission.

1. Qualify NEET-UG Examination

• Candidates must appear for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET‑UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

• Only candidates who achieve the required NEET cutoff are eligible for admission.

2. Meet Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:

• Education: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English.

• Minimum Marks:

  • General/EWS – 50

  • OBC/SC/ST – 40%

• Age: Minimum 17 years by 31 December of the admission year.

3. Register for Counselling

After qualifying NEET, candidates must participate in:

• **Directorate of Medical Education and Training Uttar Pradesh counselling portal for UP NEET-UG Counselling.

• Candidates can also participate in All India Quota (AIQ) counselling conducted by MCC.

4. Choice Filling

• During counselling, students must select the college in their preference list.
