Madras Christian College Chennai Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

To get admission in Madras Christian College, it is required to fulfill eligibility criteria, which are mentioned below:

B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, BCA, etc.: Pass in 10+2 (Higher Secondary / Equivalent) from a recognised board with minimum marks as prescribed by the University of Madras.

PG Courses (M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, MSW, MCA, etc.): Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised university with minimum 50-55% aggregate marks.

MCA: Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level with a minimum 50% aggregate.

Selection criteria:

UG Courses: Purely merit-based on marks obtained in 10+2 qualifying examination. No entrance exam for most programs.

PG Courses (except MCA): Merit-based on marks in the qualifying UG degree.

MCA: Valid score in TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) followed by counselling throughthe  Tamil Nadu Government / MCC.

2. Click on “Apply Online” or “New Registration” for the desired course (UG/PG).
3. Register with your email ID and mobile number to create an account.
4. Log in and fill out the application form with personal details, academic qualifications, and upload the required documents.
5. Pay the application fee online.
6. Submit the form and note down your application number.
7. Check your email/portal regularly for merit list/shortlist updates.
8. If shortlisted (for MCA: attend counselling), report to the college with original documents for verification and pay the admission fee to confirm your seat.
