Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology- MSIT New Delhi Scholarships: Eligibility & Scholarship Amount 2026

There are various Financial Assistance Schemes/ Policies offered and assisted by the institute:

• Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Scheme: The G.G.S.IP.U University has the scheme to grant financial assistance to the students of the university belonging to the Economically Weaker Sections of society. 

• Merit-cum-Means Linked Financial Assistance Scheme: It is the policy of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi that students get access to high quality education provided by Delhi State Universities.

• Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC students: Department for the Welfare of SC/ST/OBC have taken over the implementation of Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Post Matric Scholarship to students belonging to SC category for pursuing further studies at post-matriculation / post-secondary (college/University) levels within India. 

• Centrally Sponsored Schemes: National Scholarships Portal is a one-stop solution through which various services, starting from student application, application receipt, processing, sanction and disbursal of various scholarships to Students are enabled. 

• Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students: Pragati is an MHRD Scheme being implemented by of AICTE aimed at providing assistance for the advancement of Girls pursuing Technical Education. 

• Saksham Scholarship Scheme for Specially abled students: Saksham is an MHRD Scheme being implemented by AICTE aimed at providing encouragement and support to specially abled children to pursue Technical Education.
