Nagarjuna College Of Engineering & Technology Placement Overview
Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology (NCET) has a well-functioning Training and Placement Cell, which aims at training students for placements as well as internships. Over 150 different companies visit the college annually. Among the top recruiters, there are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, IBM, Bosch, Capgemini, Deloitte, etc.
The cell conducts frequent training sessions for the students in the field of aptitude, technical knowledge, soft skills, GDs, and mock interviews from their 5th semester onwards. Over the past few years, NCET has been able to provide placements for approximately 70-80% of eligible candidates. The maximum offered salary package goes up to INR 20 LPA, and the average package lies between INR 5 – 5.5 LPA.
Moreover, there is heavy emphasis on internships. Numerous students receive placements and pre-placement offers (PPOs) based on internships provided by companies in the industry. NCET boasts decent industry connections, along with options for internships abroad. CSE, AI & ML, and ISE streams fare relatively better when it comes to placements and internships.
