National Capital Region Institute of Medical Sciences Meerut Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Admissions to NCR Institute of Medical Sciences (NCRIMS), Meerut are primarily for the MBBS program and postgraduate medical courses (MD/MS) and are strictly based on merit in national-level medical entrance exams. The MBBS admission process follows the NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) guidelines, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). 

Eligibility Criteria

For MBBS (Undergraduate Program):

• Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

• Mandatory subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

• Minimum aggregate marks: 50% for general category, with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per government norms.

• Age requirement: 17 years as of December 31 of the admission year.

• Qualifying NEET-UG score is mandatory for all candidates.

Admission Process

1. Online Registration: Candidates must register through the official NEET counselling portal for MBBS or PG courses.

2. Application Form Submission: Fill in personal, academic, and exam-related details. Upload scanned documents including mark sheets, NEET scorecard, identity proof, and category certificate (if applicable).

3. Merit-Based Shortlisting: Seats are allotted based on NEET rank, category, and reservation quota.

4. Counselling & Seat Allotment: Eligible candidates are called for counselling (state or AIQ), where they select preferred courses and colleges.

5. Document Verification: Students must report to NCRIMS with original documents such as 10th/12th mark sheets, NEET scorecard, MBBS degree (for PG), internship completion certificate, and identity proof.

6. Fee Payment & Confirmation: Tuition and other fees are paid to confirm admission. Hostel allotment and induction into the academic program follow immediately after confirmation.
