National Law University Jodhpur Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Admissions at NLU Jodhpur are primarily through national entrance exams. For undergraduate programs like B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), admission is based on CLAT UG scores, followed by centralized counselling, seat allotment, fee payment, and document verification. 

Undergraduate (BA LLB / BBA LLB)

• Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board.

• Minimum Marks: At least 45% aggregate for General/OBC/EWS and 40% aggregate for SC/ST candidates.

• Entrance Exam: Must appear in CLAT UG (Common Law Admission Test).

• Age: No upper age limit.

Postgraduate (LL.M)

• Educational Qualification: LL.B. or equivalent degree from a recognised university.

• Minimum Marks: Typically 50% aggregate for General/OBC, 45% for SC/ST.

• Entrance Exam: CLAT PG score required (national level).

Admission Process:

• Register & Apply for CLAT: Apply online through the CLAT Consortium portal when registration opens.

• Appear in CLAT Exam: CLAT UG for UG courses; CLAT PG for LLM.

• Check Results & Rank: You get a CLAT All‑India Rank (AIR).

• Participate in CLAT Counselling: Fill preferences of NLUs including NLU Jodhpur.

• Seat Allotment Based on Rank & Quotas: Seats are allotted on the basis of your CLAT rank, category reservation and preference order.

• Fee Payment & Document Verification: After allotment, you complete payment and document checks.

• Join the University: Once admitted and documents verified, you join classes per campus schedule.
