Admission Process and Eligibility Criteria for Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS)(as of 2026 admissions). Telangana domicile rules apply strictly for Competent Authority (A-Category) seats. All admissions are centralised through KNRUHS. The college does not conduct direct admissions. Candidates must submit original documents, pay fees, and execute bonds (if applicable) at the time of reporting.
MBBS Admission (Undergraduate)
Eligibility Criteria:
Must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Biotechnology) and English.
Minimum marks in PCB (Science subjects) for OC / General / EWS is 50% and BC / SC / ST is 40%.
Age: Completed 17 years as on 31st December of the admission year (no upper age limit).

Admission Process:
Admission is only through NEET-UG merit.
Counselling is conducted by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal.
Seat distribution (approx. for private colleges):
A-Category (Convener Quota): 50% seats – filled by KNRUHS on state merit (Telangana domicile preferred).
B-Category (Management Quota): 35% seats – filled by KNRUHS based on NEET score.
C-Category (NRI Quota): 15% seats – filled on NEET merit (NRI candidates eligible).
Candidates must register online on the KNRUHS website, upload documents for verification, and participate in web counselling.
PG (MD/MS) Admission
Eligibility Criteria:
Must have completed MBBS degree from an NMC-recognized college.
Completed 1-year compulsory rotating internship.
Must qualify NEET-PG with the required cutoff (50th percentile for General, 40th for SC/ST/BC, 45th for PwD).
Admission Process:
Counselling is conducted by KNRUHS for both Convener Quota and Management Quota seats.
Separate notifications are issued for Convener and Management quota.
Seat allotment is based on NEET-PG rank and choices filled during counselling.
Super Speciality (DM/M.Ch) Admission
Must qualify NEET-SS.
Counselling through KNRUHS / MCC as per rules.
