Admission to the MBBS program at Nova Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMSRC) is strictly based on the NEET UG entrance exam followed by centralized counselling conducted by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana. As a private medical college established in 2024, all seats (currently around 250) are filled through the Telangana state counselling process. There is no direct admission or management quota outside the official counselling.
Eligibility Criteria for MBBS at NIMSRC
Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Biotechnology), and English.
Minimum aggregate marks: 50% in PCB for General category (40% for SC/ST/BC, with relaxations as per rules).
Age: Minimum 17 years as on 31st December of the admission year.

Online Step-by-Step Admission Process 2026:
Appear and Qualify in NEET UG Candidates must register and appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This includes paying the registration/processing fee and uploading required documents for verification.
Document Verification and Merit List The university verifies uploaded documents (10+2 marksheet, NEET scorecard, caste/income certificates, domicile proof, etc.). A provisional and final state merit list is released based on NEET UG rank and eligibility criteria.
Choice Filling and Seat Allotment Candidates exercise web options by selecting their preferred colleges, including Nova Institute of Medical Sciences. Seats are allotted based on NEET rank, reservation rules, seat availability, and category (Competent Authority Quota / Management Quota).
