Every MBBS student must complete one-year Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship (CRMI) after passing the final year exams. The entire internship is done at the attached Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre a large multi-speciality teaching hospital with heavy patient flow. Students also get free hostel accommodation during the internship period. Many students mention that the clinical exposure is very good due to the busy hospital, though the workload can be high.
Departments covered: Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Community Medicine, Ophthalmology, ENT, Psychiatry, Dermatology, and others as per NMC guidelines.
Stipend (2025):
