Rajalakshmi Engineering College offers admissions to undergraduate (B.E/B.Tech), postgraduate (M.E/M.Tech, MBA) and doctoral programmes across various engineering, technology, management and research disciplines. Admissions are merit and entrance‑based, with separate pathways for different levels of study. 

Undergraduate (B.E./B.Tech)

• Must have passed 10+2 (HSC) with physics, chemistry and mathematics.

• Minimum marks required: 50% for general categories, 45% for backward classes, 40% for most backward categories, and passing marks for SC/ST candidates.

• Lateral entry into the 2nd year is possible for diploma holders with specified minimum percentages.

Postgraduate (M.E/M.Tech and MBA)

• For M.E/M.Tech, candidates should hold a relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., B.E./B.Tech) with qualifying marks.

• Admission for M.E./M.Tech typically considers GATE or TANCET scores.

• For an MBA, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, and selection involves TANCET MBA scores followed by group discussion and personal interview.
