About Rourkela Institute of Management Studies- RIMS Scholarships

RIMS offers various scholarship opportunities to support meritorious, economically backward, and reserved category students, making education more accessible. These include institute-specific merit-based awards and facilitation of government schemes. Details are primarily for UG (BBA, BCA, BJMC) and PG (MBA/PGDM, MCA) programs, with emphasis on performance in entrance tests and academics.

RIMSET (RIMS Entrance Test / Scholarship Test)- RIMS conducts its own entrance/scholarship test called RIMSET (especially for UG aspirants, but also open for scholarship consideration in other programs).

Purpose: Awards significant tuition fee waivers or scholarships to top performers.
Benefits: Scholarships to the top three performers (merit-based tuition reduction). Up to 25% scholarship on fees for deserving students in some cases.
Eligibility: Open to applicants; perform well in the test (online/offline mode in past cycles).

Merit-Based Scholarships- Provided to high-achieving students based on academic performance, good percentages in qualifying exams, or entrance scores like CAT/MAT/OJEE. Can include fee waivers or reductions for bright students across programs.

Government and Category-Based Scholarships
