The Career Development Centre of SVNIT not only facilitates but nurture students to get internships in various companies by providing opportunities in a real work environment. It also strives to enhance the technical, interpersonal and communication skills of the students and prepares them for the corporate world. The Section relentlessly explores different areas of opportunities in the field of Engineering and Technology for Placement.

Further, to strengthen the Industry-Institute interaction, the CDC section encourages the companies to pursue B.Tech. 3rd year students (maximum 8 weeks in summer vacation) and to M. Tech. students (maximum 11 months) in their 2nd year for a dissertation work.

Placement Process: The placement of final year students starts at the beginning of the academic year. An invitation is sent to all the companies that visited earlier, as well as to new companies, in June-July. A requisition form, along with the invitation, is provided to seek the company’s profile and information. After obtaining the willingness of the companies, they are prioritized and a schedule is prepared along with the merit list of students who are interested. Based on the prepared schedule, a company is invited to visit the campus on an allotted day and makes a pre-placement talk, conducts tests and interviews, and selects the candidates.
