The Placement Cell of SIST acts as a bridge for our students and recruiters. It monitors the employment opportunities in various domains and invites the recruiters for campus recruitment of final-year students at our institute. Students are enhanced with niche skills as expected by various industries. It is very successful in maintaining high and consistent placement statistics over the years. The on-campus recruitment programme keeps continuing till the end of their final semester. 

Training outcomes offered by the institute are designed to help students identify their strengths and interests, expose them to a wide range of opportunities to enhance clarity about their goals, and guide them to pursue internships, jobs and leadership experiences that best suit them personally and professionally.

Key Scholarship Types

• Chancellor's Merit Scholarship: The most prestigious merit-based award for students excelling in academics and entrance exams (SAEEE or JEE Main). It provides partial to substantial tuition fee waivers. It focuses on top performers in qualifying exams, academics, and sometimes entrance ranks. It motivates high achievers across UG programmes, including engineering and others.

• Anbu Scholarship: A need-cum-merit scheme for meritorious students lacking financial support. It offers tuition fee concessions or full/partial waivers to make education accessible.
