School of Planning and Architecture- SPA Admission Process
School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) Vijaywada was established in the year 2008 as an autonomous Centrally Funded Technical Institution (CFTI) by MHRD. It currently offers 7 programs, which are two Undergraduate and five Postgraduate Programs and Doctoral Programs in the fields of Planning and Architecture.
Admission to UG programs is done through Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB)/ Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) on the basis of JEE Main Paper 2. For securing admission in PG programs, candidates need to appear in the written test followed by an Interview. Applicants having a valid GATE score are granted admission in M.Arch. and M.Planning. The final selection is based on CCMT counselling.
Admission to PhD is based on a written test, viva-voce and Presentation.
For B.Arch / B.Plan (UG Programmes)
- Go to official JEE Main website and register.
- Fill JEE Main (Paper 2) application form and upload documents.
- Appear for JEE Main exam.
- After results, register for JoSAA/CSAB counselling.
- Choose SPA Vijayawada as one of your preferences.
- Lock choices and participate in seat allotment rounds.
- If allotted a seat, download allotment letter.
- Pay seat acceptance fee and complete document verification.
- Report to institute (online/offline) for final admission formalities.
For M.Arch / M.Plan (PG Programmes)
- Visit official SPA Vijayawada admission portal.
- Register and create a new applicant login.
- Fill online application form with academic details.
- Upload photo, signature, certificates.
- Pay application fee online.
- Appear for GATE / institute-based selection process (if applicable).
- Participate in counselling/interview rounds.
- On selection, download admission offer and pay fees.
- Complete verification and join programme.
