Shivaji-university Kolhapur Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Candidates apply online through the university's admission portal (links available under the "Admissions" section on the website, such as for PG: sukapps.unishivaji.ac.in/pgentranc or specific department pages).

Eligibility Criteria (UG) Programs (BA, B.Sc., B.Com, B.Tech, B.Pharm)

• Primarily merit-based on marks in 10+2 (Class 12) qualifying examination (minimum 45–50% aggregate, relaxed for reserved categories).
• For professional/technical courses like B.Tech: Based on national/state exams such as JEE Main or MHT-CET scores, followed by centralised counselling via the State CET Cell.
• Some programs may involve university-level merit lists for on-campus seats.

Eligibility Criteria (PG) Programs (MA, M.Sc., M.Com, MBA, M.Tech, MCA)

• For many Arts, Science, and Commerce programs: University-conducted entrance exam + merit in bachelor's degree (minimum 50% aggregate).

For professional courses, Entrance Examination:- 

• MBA/MCA: MAH MBA/MCA CET scores + centralised counselling.
• M.Tech: GATE scores.

• M.Pharm: GPAT or university entrance.

• Upload required documents (mark sheets, certificates, photos, etc.).
• Pay the application fee online (typically ₹300–₹600 per program, lower for reserved categories).
• Submit the form and retain a printout for verification.
• Separate applications (and fees) are required for multiple programs.
• Merit lists are prepared combining entrance scores (if applicable) and qualifying exam marks. Shortlisted candidates attend document verification and counselling at the university/department.
