Shri Chinai College of Commerce and Economics has an active and dedicated placement cell that facilitates campus recruitment drives, internships, and skill-development workshops. Placement cell focuses more on specialised programs like BMS and B.Com variants in Accounting & Finance or Banking & Insurance, compared to the general B.Com. Placements are primarily in financial and service-oriented sectors like BFSI, Corporate Finance & Accounting, Business Management & Consulting, IT & BPO services. They offer placements to students on the basis of their interview performance, academic performance and skills they have. Some of the job offered includes the role of Process Associate, Trainee, Finance Executive, Accounts Assistant, Customer Service, Banking Officer, Management Trainee, Business Development Associate, and many others. 

The placement cell also conducts a range of structured and ongoing activities for final-year students. Its key roles include organising campus recruitment drives, arranging internships, organising sessions on employability skills, soft skills training, aptitude preparation, resume building, interview techniques, group discussions, and personality development. These workshops aim to improve students’ performance in selection processes. The cell also invites industry experts, alumni, and professionals for sessions to share insights into corporate expectations, current trends, and career advice. It offers personalised support, including registration for placement drives, shortlisting based on performance and mentoring students in identifying suitable roles.
