Sityog Institute of Technology- SIT Aurangabad Scholarships: Eligibility & Scholarship Amount 2026

Sityog Institute of Technology offers several government and institute-level scholarships to support students from economically weaker sections and those with good academic performance. These scholarships help reduce tuition fees and encourage meritorious students to continue their higher education. 

• Post Matric Scholarship (Government Scheme): This scholarship is available for SC, ST, OBC, and minority students whose family income falls within government limits. Eligible students can receive financial assistance up to around INR 100,000 per year, which is transferred directly to their bank accounts. Applications are usually submitted through the National Scholarship Portal or a state scholarship portal.

• Merit-Based Scholarship (Institute Level): The institute offers scholarships to students who achieve high marks in qualifying or entrance examinations. The scholarship may include tuition-fee concessions or reimbursements, depending on the student’s academic performance. Students generally need to maintain a good CGPA to continue receiving the benefit.

• Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme: Students from low-income families (usually below INR 2-2.5 lakh annual income) may receive a 50-75% tuition fee waiver, along with additional support such as about INR 10,000 per semester in some cases. Only a limited percentage of students receive this benefit based on eligibility and seat availability.

• Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme: Under this Bihar government scheme, eligible students can receive an education loan of up to INR 5 lakh to cover tuition fees, study materials, and other academic expenses. The loan offers low interest rates and flexible repayment options.

• Scholarships for Special Categories: Students belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories, physically disabled students, and female students can also apply for scholarships under schemes provided by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment through the National Scholarship Portal.
