Admission to the MBBS course atSMBT Institute of Medical Sciences & Research is based on performance in the NEET-UG examination. Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements set by the National Medical Commission. Educational Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
Minimum Marks:
General Category: 50% aggregate in PCB
Reserved Category: 40% aggregate in PCB
Age: Must be 17 years or older as of December 31 of the admission year.
NEET Qualification: Candidates must qualify NEET-UG to be eligible.
Entrance Examination
NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate) is mandatory.
The exam assesses knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Admission is based on NEET rank and percentile.
Counselling Process
State Quota Seats (85%)
SMBT falls under the Maharashtra State Quota.
