SNS College of Technology Coimbatore Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Admission to B.E./B.Tech programmes is primarily through TNEA counselling based on +2 marks (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics). PG admissions (MBA, M.E., MCA) are done through TANCET or GATE scores followed by Anna University counselling. Management quota seats are also available for direct admission by applying to the college.

Undergraduate Programmes (B.E. / B.Tech)

• Pass in 10+2 (HSC) or equivalent examination.
• Must have studied Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Minimum Marks 45% in PCM aggregate, BC / MBC 40% in PCM aggregate and SC / ST 40% in PCM aggregate
• Lateral Entry (Direct 2nd Year): Diploma in relevant branch with minimum required marks.

• Eligibility Check — Pass 10+2 (HSC) with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and required minimum marks.
• Apply for TNEA — Register online on the official Anna University TNEA website.
• Counselling Participation — Appear for TNEA counselling based on +2 marks merit list.
• Choice Filling — Select SNS College of Technology (Counselling Code: 2726) as a preference.
• Seat Allotment — Check allotment result and confirm the seat.
• Report to College — Visit the campus with original documents, pay the admission fee and complete formalities.
• Management Quota — Apply directly to the college through the official website or admission office.

Postgraduate Programmes Eligibility Criteria 

MBA (2 Years): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (10+2+3 / 10+2+4 pattern). Minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories).

M.E. / M.Tech (2 Years): B.E. / B.Tech degree in the relevant or allied discipline. Minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories as per Anna University norms).

MCA (2 Years): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 level or graduation level. Minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Admission Process for MBA / M.E. / PG Programmes

1. Eligibility — Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
2. Appear for Entrance Exam — TANCET (or GATE for M.E.).
3. Apply for Counselling — Register for TANCA counselling conducted by Anna University.
4. College Allotment — Choose SNSCT during counselling.
5. Direct Admission — Management quota seats are available with separate application to the college.
