Admission Process for MBBS at Sree Mookambika Institute of Medical Sciences. It is a private medical college with 150 MBBS seats. Admission is purely based on NEET score and Tamil Nadu state counselling rules. There is no direct or management admission outside the counselling process.
Eligibility Criteria
Must be 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the admission year.

need minimum marks as per NMC rules: 50% in PCB for General category, 40% for SC/ST, and 45% for OBC (subject to change as per government norms).

Admission Process Step by Step
Appear for the NEET-UG exam conducted by NTA.
After NEET results, register online for Tamil Nadu State MBBS Counselling on the official website (conducted by Directorate of Medical Education, Tamil Nadu).
Fill your choices of colleges during the choice-filling round. It comes under private medical colleges in Tamil Nadu.
Seats are allotted based on your NEET score, rank, category, and seat availability in different quotas.
If allotted a seat, report to the college with all original documents for verification and pay the admission fees to confirm your seat.
The process includes multiple rounds of counselling (including mop-up rounds if seats remain vacant).
There are three types of seats:
Government Quota – Lower fees, allotted through state counselling.
Management Quota – Higher fees, also through state counselling.
NRI Quota – For NRI candidates with separate higher fees.
