St Joseph's College of Engineering Chennai Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

St. Joseph’s College of Engineering admission- Meet Eligibility Criteria- Applicants must have a 3-year Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Relaxation of 5% provided by the institute for reserved category students (45% for reserved categories). Apart from them, Final-year students can also apply.

Appear for an Entrance Exam- TNEA, GATE, TANCET

Apply to St. Joseph’s College of Engineering

Step 1. Fill out the online application form on the official St. Joseph’s College of Engineering.
Step 2. Upload required documents and submit the form.

Step 3. Shortlisting- Candidates are shortlisted based on: Entrance exam score and Academic performance

Step 4. Group Discussion (GD) / Personal Interview (PI)- Shortlisted candidates must attend GD and/or PI conducted by the institute.

Step 5. Final Selection-  Final merit list is prepared considering the Entrance score, GD/PI performance and Academic record. 

Step 6. Admission Confirmation- Selected students must pay the admission fee and submit required documents to confirm their seat.

Selection Rounds of St. Joseph’s College of Engineering

1. Shortlisted students are called for Group Discussion (GD).
2. Personal Interview (PI). 
3. Selected candidates receive the admission offer via email.
4. To confirm admission, pay the first instalment of fee as mentioned in the offer letter. Individuals may also need to submit original documents for verification.
