TRR College of Engineering has a dedicated Training & Placement Cell. The placement cell works to connect students with industry and corporate recruiters. Regular placement training programs are conducted for final-year students. Students receive support in resume preparation and interview skills. Mock interviews and aptitude training sessions are organised, and soft skills and communication training are provided to improve employability. Top recruiters include Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, and other IT service companies. Placement results vary every year based on market conditions and student skills. Students are encouraged to focus on technical skills, internships, and projects to improve placement chances. 
 

Also, Internship opportunities are offered to students during pre-final and final years. Placement drives are conducted on campus and through pooled campus drives. Highest reported placement package is around INR 9.8 LPA (varies by year), and theaverage placement package is around INR 4.2 LPA. Placement percentage is moderate and depends on branch and student performance. CSE and IT branches receive comparatively better placement opportunities. Core branches like ECE, EEE, Mechanical, and Civil have limited but available placements. 

TRR College of Engineering provides scholarship support through government, AICTE, and institutional schemes. All scholarships are available only for eligible students admitted to AICTE-approved courses. Students can apply for multiple scholarships, but final approval depends on scheme rules. Telangana State Government Scholarships, fee Reimbursement Scholarship available for SC / ST / BC / EBC / Minority students. Scholarship amount is credited directly to the college or student bank account. AICTE Scholarship Schemes, AICTE Pragati Scholarship is available for girl students in technical courses. Provides financial assistance of up to INR 50,000 per year. AICTE Saksham Scholarship is offered to differently-abled students. The income limit is generally up to INR 8 lakh per annum. AICTE Yashasvi Scholarship for meritorious students admitted to core engineering branches.
 

Also, College / Institutional Scholarships, TRR College may offer merit-based scholarships to academically strong students. Financial assistance may be provided to economically weaker students. Scholarship criteria, amount, and duration are decided by the college management. Interested students must apply through the college administration office. Merit & Special Category Scholarships, scholarships available for students with high entrance exam ranks or board marks. Special support may be given to minority, physically challenged, and reserved category students. Sports and extracurricular achievers may receive additional support.
