TRR College of Engineering Medak Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

The admission process at Amritsar Group of Colleges is that you must check eligibility criteria before you apply, and make sure you meet the minimum eligibility criteria for your chosen program.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech (UG Engineering),

• Must have passed 10 + 2 (Intermediate) with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognised board.
• Minimum 45% marks (General category) & 40% (reserved category) overall in PCM.
  Appearing candidates in the final year of 10 + 2 can also apply.

For Diploma to 2nd Year (Lateral Entry)

• A pass in Diploma (Engineering) recognised by the state.
• For MBA / MCA
• Recognised Bachelor’s degree (with eligibility norms per course). 
• Final year students may apply provisionally.

Entrance Exams Accepted are Engineering / B.Tech

TS EAPCET (formerly TS EAMCET), state-level engineering entrance test conducted by TGCHE/JNTUH.

• 70 % of seats filled based on EAPCET rank via web counselling.
• 30 % seats filled under Management Quota based on merit or institute criteria.

Lateral Entry: Through TS ECET for Diploma holders (direct admission into 2nd year).

MBA / MCA: TS ICET (Common Entrance for MBA/MCA) or qualifying criteria as per norms.

Application Process at Entrance Exam Registration

1. TS EAPCET

Apply on the official TS EAPCET portal when registration opens (usually Feb–Mar).

1. TS ECET (for lateral entry), Apply when notified by the exam authority.
2. TS ICET for MBA/MCA applicants.
    

Documents Required

Typical documents needed for counselling and admission include:

• TS EAPCET rank card & hall ticket
• 10th & 12th mark sheets + pass certificate
• Study certificates (proof of local status)
• Caste/Income certificate (if applicable)
• Aadhaar Card (Keep originals + photocopies for verification)

Final Admission

Once a seat is allotted and you complete the fee payment, verification of original certificates will be required. You’re officially admitted to TRR College of Engineering for the academic year.
