University Business School- UBS Admission Process
University Business School offers business management courses in PG and Doctoral programmes. The top programmes offered by the university are MBA (Human Resource, International Business, Entrepreneurship), Executive MBA, M.Com, and PhD (Business Management). The university accepts admission based on entrance exam scores, such as the CAT and PU-CET for PG admission.
Eligibility Criteria:-
- For MBA admission, applying students must have a bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 50% marks. 45% is for the students belonging to SC/ST/BC/PwD. Students need to attend a group discussion and a personal interview.
- For M.Com (Hons) admission, applying students must have a bachelor’s degree in Commerce or an equivalent degree with 50% aggregate marks. 5% relaxation is for the SC/ST/BC/PwD students. Moreover, students must qualify for the PU-CET entrance test and GD, and a personal interview.
- For Executive MBA admission, applying students must have a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree with 50% marks and 45% for the reserved category students. Students must qualify for the PU-CET test for admission, followed by the GD and PI rounds.
- For Doctoral admission, applying students must have a postgraduate degree with 55% marks and 50% for the SC/ST/BC/PwD category students. Moreover, students must qualify for the UGC-NET/JRF/GATE/GPAT entrance test for admission.
Selection process for admission 2026:-
- Students applying for admission to the University Business School are selected based on a national-level entrance test.
- Students must qualify for CAT with valid scores for MBA, PU-CET for Executive MBA & MCom admission.
- Students will be shortlisted based on their entrance exam scores and academic qualifications.
- Shortlisted students will be called for a group discussion and a personal interview, which is conducted by the university itself.
- Admission weightage is 85% for the entrance exam and 7.5% for GD, and 7.5% for PI.
- The Final merit list will be out on the official website of the University.
