University College of Engineering Admission Process
Admission Criteria at UCE Villupuram, eligibility for Undergraduate Programs (B.E. / B.Tech). Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) from a recognized board, with mandatory subjects in 12th standard Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying percentage as prescribed by the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) authority for their category. Both Tamil Nadu State Board and other recognized boards (CBSE, ICSE, etc.) students are eligible.
Admission Process, no separate entrance exam is required for B.E./B.Tech admissions. Admission is based purely on 12th marks through the centralized counseling system of TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions). Merit list is prepared using the normalized scores of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Students are allotted seats through online TNEA counseling based on the marks obtained, community category, availability of seats, and candidateβs preferences
Category & Reservation Policy, admissions follow the Government of Tamil Nadu reservation rules, including General Category, BC / MBC / DNC, SC / ST, Differently-abled candidates, Ex-servicemen quota, Sports quota, and Special reservation categories as notified by the government. Lateral Entry Admission, diploma holders are eligible for direct second-year admission under the Lateral Entry Scheme. Must have completed 3-year Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline. Admission through TNEA Lateral Entry counseling based on diploma marks.
Documents Required at Admission are 10th & 12th Mark Sheets, Transfer Certificate, Community Certificate, Nativity Certificate, Income Certificate, Passport-size photographs, Counseling allotment order

- Register online on the TNEA portal.
- Fill in personal and academic details in the application form.
- Upload required documents and pay the application fee.
- Attend certificate verification as per TNEA schedule.
- Fill and lock college & course choices (choose UCE Villupuram β Code 1013).
- Download provisional seat allotment order.
- Pay confirmation fee to secure the seat.
- Report to UCE Villupuram with original documents to complete admission.
