VSIT follows the admission guidelines of the University of Mumbai for most UG and PG programmes. All the details are mentioned below:
Eligibility Criteria:
- For BSc IT: Students must have passed class 12 or its equivalent from a recognised board. The minimum required mark is 45% in the mathematics and science stream.
- For BMS/BMM/BAF/BBI: Students must have passed class 12 or its equivalent from a recognised board. The minimum required mark is 45% in any stream.
- For M.Sc. IT/M.Com: Students must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognised university with 50% minimum marks.
- Application Fee: INR 200
- Selection Criteria: Merit-based
How to Apply:
- Visit http://mum.digitaluniversity.ac or the current Mumbai University admission portal.
- Create a profile, fill out the online form, and select programmes (e.g., B.Sc. IT, BMS) and college (VSIT).
- Visit the VSIT website (vsit.edu.in) or campus for a college-specific form (if required).
- Fill out the VSIT admission form (online/offline).
- Wait for university/college merit lists (displayed online and on the notice board).
- If selected, report to college with originals for verification.
- Pay fees to confirm seat (within deadline, or seat may be cancelled).
