VPM’s Maharshi Parshuram College of Engineering Admission Process
To be eligible for first‑year B.Tech admission at VPMMPCOE, candidates must meet the following:
Academic Qualifications: Passed 10 + 2 (HSC) or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics compulsory, along with one of the following: Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subjects / Computer Science / IT / Informatics Practices / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies.
Minimum Marks: Generally 50% aggregate in the qualifying subjects.
Alternative Eligibility: Diploma holders in Engineering & Technology with required marks are also eligible for admission (including lateral entry to the second year).
Entrance Scores: Must have a valid score in MHT‑CET, the Maharashtra common entrance test. A valid JEE Main score is also accepted and often given preference.
Admission Process

Register and appear for MHT-CET (Maharashtra CET) and/or JEE Main.
College admissions are primarily based on these scores.
Centralised (CAP) Counselling
Eligible candidates must participate in CAP (Centralised Admission Process) conducted by the Competent Authority (usually DTE Maharashtra).
Choose preferred courses/branches during counselling. Seats are allotted based on merit rank.
Seat Allotment & Document Verification
After seat allotment, candidates must complete document verification at the admission centre.
