Yenepoya University's Employment and Placement Cell was established on 24 September 2011 with the aim to bridge the gap between the job applicants and a potential employer, and aids the students to plan their careers.

Objectives of Placement Cell:

• To have close liaison with industry for placement of students

• To work in consultation with the coordinator of Industry-Institute Interaction for organizing lectures from the professionals from industry 

• To organize the entrepreneurship workshops

• To arrange for the placement of the students through campus interview during their course of study as well as after their passing out

• To collect feedback from the companies coming 

Placement cell activities:

• The cell functions continuously to monitor the employment potentials and arrange campus interviews for students. It maintains consistent communication with leading organisations which conduct campus interviews and select graduate and postgraduate students from all disciplines.

• The placement office serves to bridge the gap between a job applicant and a potential employer and aids the students to plan their careers by providing in-dept information about the industries which approach the college

Yenepoya University offers a range of merit-based, merit-cum-means, and special category scholarships through the Yenepoya Scholarship Programme, an initiative of the Yenepoya Foundation and the Yenepoya Trust. These scholarships aim to support deserving and economically weaker students pursuing higher education in the university’s constituent colleges. Scholarships primarily provide fee concessions on tuition/course fees only and do not cover hostel charges, books, examination fees, or other expenses.

Key Types of Scholarships:

• Merit-Based Scholarships: Awarded based on academic performance in qualifying examinations or university internal exams.

• Merit-cum-Means Scholarships: For students with strong academic records who also demonstrate financial need. Shortlisting involves document scrutiny followed by a survey report. Approval is done by a committee.

• NEET-Based / Rank Scholarships: Specific concessions for top All India Ranks in NEET

• PG Scholarships (MDS, MD/MS): Merit scholarships or fee concessions for meritorious PG students, with details published separately for the academic year.

• Sports Quota and Other Special Scholarships: Limited seats for outstanding sports achievers
