Yenepoya University Bangalore Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Yenepoya University Bangalore Campus (Bhartiya City, Thanisandra) offers admissions to various undergraduate programmes in management (BBA), computer applications (BCA with industry specialisations), commerce (B.Com), allied health sciences, and B.Sc. programmes. Admissions for 2026-27 are open. The process is primarily merit-based, with some programmes requiring the university’s Y-Entrance Exam (online, AI-proctored) followed by counselling or interview.

Eligibility Criteria:

• BCA/BBA: Passed 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board of education.

• B.Tech: Passed 10+2 or equivalent in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board of education

• BCom: Passed 10+2 or equivalent from commerce stream with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board of education.

• B.Sc: Passed 10+2 or equivalent from science stream with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board of education.

• MCA/MSc: Must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised university board. 

Admission Process:

• Registration: Visit the official admission portal and register with basic details.

• Fill Application: Complete the online application form with academic and personal information.

• Entrance Test (if applicable): Appear for Y-Entrance Exam (for selected UG/PG programmes) – online and AI-proctored.

• Merit/Selection: Shortlisting based on 10+2 marks, Y-entrance score (where applicable), and/or personal interview/counselling.

• Document Verification: Upload or submit required documents.

• Fee Payment: Pay the admission/registration fee to confirm the seat.

• Provisional Admission: Offered after verification; final admission confirmed after document scrutiny.
