The Consortium of NLU has officially announced the CLAT 2026 exam date. The exam will be conducted on December 07, 2025. The test will be conducted offline. It is a pen-paper test which focuses on comprehension based questions to assess analytical and reasoning skills.
Earlier CLAT 2026 and AILET 2026, which is another major Law Entrance exam, were scheduled on the same day. Though, date for AILET 2026 has been shifted to December 14, 2025.
What is CLAT?
The Common Law Admission Test 2026 (CLAT 2026) is a national level entrance exam conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). This exam is conducted to give admission to UG and PG law programmes. Its application window for registration has closed on November 07, 2025.
