NEET UG 2026 is the single national entrance test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, and BHMS courses across India. It is a pen-and-paper exam with 180 MCQs (Physics 45, Chemistry 45, Biology 90) for 720 marks. The exam will be held on 3 May 2026 (Sunday) from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Last Date
The online application form submission has been extended till 11 March 2026 (9:00 PM). Fee payment can be done till 11:50 PM on the same day. No further extension will be given. The correction window is from 10 to 12 March 2026.
How to Apply
Visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in.
Click on “New Registration” and fill basic details to generate Application Number and password.
Login, fill personal, academic, and exam city details.
Upload scanned documents and capture live photograph.
Pay the fee online (Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI).
Download and print the Confirmation Page. The entire process is online only; no documents are to be sent by post.

Recent passport-size photograph (JPG/JPEG, 10-200 KB)
Signature (JPG/JPEG, 10-100 KB)
Left and right hand thumb impressions (JPG/JPEG, 10-200 KB)
Class 10 marksheet and passing certificate (PDF, 50-300 KB)
Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS) if applicable (PDF, 50-300 KB)
PwBD/UDID certificate if applicable (PDF, 50-300 KB)
Valid ID proof (Aadhaar preferred; others JPG/PDF, 10-300 KB)
Address proof and NRI/OCI documents if required. A live photograph is captured during the form-filling process.

Application Fees: General INR 1700, Gen-EWS/OBC-NCL INR 1600, SC/ST/PwBD INR 1000 (for centres in India).
Eligibility: Must be 17 years old by 31 December 2026; passed or appearing in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology + English. No upper age limit.
Correction Window: 10–12 March 2026 (limited fields only).
