Caucasus International University Admission Process

Admissions at CIU are straightforward, student-friendly, primarily online, and based on academic merit for international self-financed students. The process is efficient with support from the International Office. Main intakes are September and March/February.

Eligibility Criteria for MBBS:

  • Age: Minimum 17 years as on 31 December of the admission year.
  • Academic: 10+2 / Higher Secondary with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (minimum ~50% aggregate for medical programs).
  • NEET: Qualified (mandatory for Indian students for MD/DMD as per NMC).
  • Valid passport and medical fitness certificate.
  • English proficiency (the university may conduct an interview).

Admission Steps:

  1. Research and Program Selection - Visit the official website and choose your program.
  2. Fill Online Application - Complete the online application form on the university portal.
  3. Submit Required Documents - Passport copy, 10th & 12th certificates/transcripts, NEET scorecard (for medical), passport-size photos, and medical fitness certificate.
  4. Document Review & Interview - Admissions team reviews documents and schedules an online interview (if required) to assess eligibility and English level.
  5. Receive Offer Letter - Successful applicants get an official offer/admission letter (usually within a few days to a week).
  6. Pay Initial Tuition Fee - Pay the first semester/year fee as instructed.
  7. Document Recognition - University assists with notarization, translation, and recognition by Georgian authorities.
  8. Apply for a Student Visa: Submit the offer letter and documents to the nearest Georgian embassy/consulate for a student visa.
  9. Travel and Final Enrollment - Arrive in Tbilisi, complete university registration, attend orientation, and start classes.
