CIU offers several scholarship opportunities, primarily merit-based, to support high-achieving students. Contact the International Office for current eligibility and application details.
- Academic Scholarships: Awarded every semester based on academic performance, participation in student activities, and scientific engagement. Top 3 students at a faculty can receive up to 100% semester funding; ranks 4–10 get 50%, and 11–20 get 20%. Maximum scholarship per semester is 1,125 GEL.
- Nominative and Entrant Scholarships: Available for new students with outstanding academic records.
- Other Grants: Mobility grants (Erasmus+) and special scholarships for Master’s students.
- Most international students study on a self-financed basis. External education loans from home countries are commonly used.
